With the help of members, volunteers and the community, the FRWA leads in the protection and restoration of the Farmington River.

FRWA addresses issues that affect the river and its surrounding landscape through research, education and advocacy programs.

Research & Water Quality Monitoring

It is vital for the Farmington River to provide clean, safe water for drinking, recreation, and wildlife. The FRWA staff and volunteers are able to work with residents, towns and the state to maintain and improve the water quality in our watershed.
